Roulette rules
Roulette is a chance-based game. The wheel layout and available bets differ between variants, so always check the table’s own rules.
How a round works
A roulette wheel contains numbered pockets and a ball is spun around the wheel. Bets are placed before the spin. Once the ball lands, the winning number and its attributes determine which bets are paid.
Inside and outside bets
Inside bets refer to specific numbers or small groups of numbers. Outside bets cover broader groups, such as colour, odd/even or ranges. A broader bet may win more often in theory but normally has a lower payout; a narrower bet has a lower chance and a higher potential payout.
Wheel variants matter
Different roulette variants have different zero pockets and rules, which affects the house edge. A sequence of colours or numbers does not mean the opposite outcome is due. Do not chase a pattern with larger bets.
